The Cottars

In November, 2005, the Harvard Schools Trust was delighted to bring teenage Celtic musicians THE COTTARS to Harvard.

The Cottars, tremendously talented young Celtic musicians, two brother-sister pairs, performed in cities all across Canada and the United States as well as in Europe and Japan. Born and raised on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, each is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and stepdancer.

In 2006, the Cottars completed a 25-city tour opening for Celtic music giants The Chieftains. The tour ended with a performance at Carnegie Hall, New York City. (The Cronin to Carnegie Hall...why not?!)
